1st anniversary of KViK

On 15th Sept 2014, KViK completed one year of training of school dropouts in vocational skills. To mark this occasion, KViK students, staff and management invited Mr. Chandramouli, Managing Director of Starrag India and President of Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) as the Chief Guest and Mr. Vijaykumar , CEO of Vigirom Group of companies as Guest of Honour. Other guests included Mr. Sampathkumar, Secretary General of BCIC, Mr. Rajagopal Murthy, CEO of Santech Engineers and Mr. F.R.Singhvi, JMD of Sansera Engineering.

5th batch of KViK students placed!

In tune with the past record in last 10 months, four students of KViK have been placed in well paying jobs immediately after they finished their training. They were part of the larger batch 20 students for “Electronics”, seen with the trainers in the picture below. While 16 of them went back to school/college for furthering their studies after the training, the four joined the “Computer Hardware and repair of Electronics” course in KViK. Reliance ResQ once again came forward and absorbed our trainees.

KViK moves to new location

On 16th June we moved to No.7, Weavers Colony main road, just 2 KMs from the former address at No.5, Gottigere. the new location, which is just 100 meters from the Bannerghatta road, is a busy thoroughfare and gives a high visibility.  The new building is has ample space for introducing new skills such as Plumbing, Carpentry, etc.

As a gesture of celebration and goodwill, the enrollments in new batch in the new location were oferred FREE! The response has been overwhelming. The new batch started on 27th June has already more than 50 students!

4th batch convocation!

24th May 2014 was a memorable day for KViK. On this day, 17 students of Electronics 4th batch and 3 students of 3rd batch received their certificate in vocational Training from a very important guest, Mr. Avinash Chintawar, Vice-President, Bosch Limited, Bangalore! Mr. and Mrs. Chintawar, visited KViK on a special invitation by Mr. Subbu Hegde. Mr. Chintawar, who spoke at the end of the function, admired the quick progress made by students in just a month in developing both hard and soft skills.
